***Important message to Students & Patrons***

As a Dance Educator & Dance Promoter I would like everyone to know how deeply committed to the health and well-being of all my students and patrons of the Long Island dance community. 

 

IMPORTANT REMINDER

for all dancers arriving for Donna's 8:15pm group and private classes in the Melville location must be in the building before 8pm.

The doors to the building will be on a timer to lock the front doors exactly at 8:00pm because there will be no security guard on duty.

So all students must be in the building before 8:00pm and wait in the downstairs lobby. You may enter the class room when I'm done teaching the 7:00pm group class I will send someone to bring you in.

Group & Private class Rates, Location Directions

Privates lessons by appointment only. Need 48 hr notice of all cancellations or will be charged for lesson.

Private lesson 45 mins. 

 Group classes are $20.00 pay as you go.

Group class discount: take 2 classes at regular price of $20.00 in one week all classes after that is $15.00. Group lessons run 1 hour . 

**Students must contact Donna for cancellations & absences.

Donna has been teaching dance since 1976. Her knowledge of Ballet, Tap, Jazz, Lyric, Broadway Theater, Ballroom and Marital Arts has greatly influenced her Ballroom, Country, Hustle & West Coast dancing with an elegant athletic style.

Donna Competed in Ballroom for 8 years and has many amateur and professional titles in Hustle, American, International  Ballroom & Latin. Winning the USBC American Rhythm Championship in 1986.

Donna went on to choreograph for dance tours to China, Italy, Florida, Hershey Park, Carnegie Hall (“Cole Porter’s 100th Birthday Celebration” and “An invitation to Dance” with the NY Pops Orchestra). You can also see her on Cable TV “Touch Dancing” with Alfonzo. Donna co-owned and operated a Ballroom Theater Company for 15 years under the name " Dance Odyssey Productions."

Currently Donna resides on Long Island NY. She is the proud owner of her own dance studio "The DancXchange, LLC . She runs and DJ's her monthly Hustle, West Coast Swing, Latin and Ballrooms dances under the name “The DancXchange "Club Night” in Suffolk and Nassau counties.

 Donna recently retired after serving 30 years as Entertainment Director for the Stardust Dance Weekend. A Ballroom getaway event held 4 times a year at the Villa Roma Hotel in the beautiful Catskills of New York.

Donna DeSimone holds many Championship Dance Competition Titles and is the recipient of Numerous Awards for her contribution to the Art of Dance

Her Credits include Theater work, television work, Choreography, and Event Production. Donna has a Lifetime of experience to share

Performing Arts Instructor in Ballet, Tap, Jazz, Musical Theater for almost 5 decades. Dance expert  in the Social Dances of Ballroom, Latin, Hustle,  West Coast Swing and Country. Retired Entertainment Director for Stardust Dance Weekends from 1994-2024.
